Apple extends its Data and Privacy portal to more countries

Apple has extended its Data and Privacy portal to the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Previously it was only available to customers in the European Union and a some other countries since May, following the introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

If you live in any of these countries, you can now download a copy of information associated with your Apple ID account. If you believe that any of your personal information stored by Apple is incorrect, Apple will help you update it at the Data and Privacy portal. At the site, you can also permanently delete your account and associated data from all Apple services.



Apple has also updated its he privacy minisite to provide details on how it protects user privacy and data through its latest hardware and software updates including iOS 12 and macOS Mojave.
