Apple debuts Apple Music for Business

Apple has announced Apple Music for Business, which offers playlists tailored to businesses. The tech giant says the service “combines world-class music curation, proprietary technology, and easy-to-use tools to let customers listen to, share, and enjoy the music your brand plays—no matter where they go.”

Apple is working with a company called PlayNetwork for the service. The firm describes itself as a “global consumer engagement company providing creative strategy, original and curated content, distribution platforms, and consumer insights.”

PlayNetwork’s music supervisors hand-select tracks from playlists curated by Apple Music editors. to help businesses “develop a solid music strategy and build a custom sound for your brand.” Playlists can be tailored by country and region, adding local flavor and recognizable artists to any setting.
