Apple Daily Report: Verizon adding Apple Music to two ‘unlimited’ cell phone plans (and more news)

According to 9to5Mac, Verizon is adding Apple Music to two of its “unlimited” cell phone plans, effectively offering the $9.99 subscription for no additional cost.

Developers, take note: FoundationDB, a free and open-source multi-model NoSQL database developed by Apple, has announced the open source release of the FoundationDB Record Layer. Databases managed by the Record Layer support records with fields and types, an evolving schema, complex primary and secondary indexes, and declarative query execution.



The NFC Forum, the global standards and advocacy association for Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, has announced a Wireless Charging Candidate Technical Specification (WLC) that makes it possible to wirelessly charge NFC-enabled devices at a power transfer rate of up to one watt.

Apple’s typical employee probably makes far less than you think: $55,426 per year, per the Silicon Valley Business Journal.

Netflix is increasing its subscription prices again, with the company’s Standard package bumping up 18 percent from $10.99 per month to $12.99 per month on Tuesday.
