Apple Daily Report: Samsung debuts a a 34-inch curved monitor with Thunderbolt 3 support (and more news)

Samsung has launched the CJ79, a 34-inch curved monitor with Thunderbolt 3. It’s described as both Mac and PC compatible. Pricing wasn’t announced.

Intel has debuted its new eighth-generation U-series “Whiskey Lake” and Y-series “Amber Lake” chips, which are designed for use in thin, light notebooks like the MacBook and the MacBook Air. 



Bose has announced a trio of smartspeakers with Amazon’s Alexa assistant, promising that support for Apple’s AirPlay 2 is coming in “early 2019.”

According to a new support document, Apple users in the United States can sign up for a 30 minute session with an Apple Support Advisor that’s an expert in “using Photos to transform pictures from good to amazing.”
