Since Steve and I can’t cover everything, at the end of each week day, we’ll offer this wrap-up of news items you should check out.

Apple has added a new “Skyline” collection of Beats Studio 3 Wireless Headphones to the online Apple Store. Priced at $349.95, they’re available in crystal blue, desert sand, and midnight black. Apple has announced — via its developer web portal — that app bundles now support Mac apps and free apps with subscriptions. The page says: “App bundles make it easy for customers to buy up to 10 of your apps in a single purchase. And now, you can create app bundles for Mac apps or free apps that offer an auto-renewable subscription to access all apps in the bundle. Learn how to set up app bundles and effectively market them on your App Store product page.”

Apple has addressed “bagel-gate.” After complaints that the bagel emoji in iOS 12 didn’t look very tasty, the bagel in iOS 12.1 beta 4 is better textured, and filled with cream cheese.

After 11 months of renovation, Apple Shibuya is set to reopen October 26. It was closed for remodeling in November 2017.

iOS is gaining ground in terms of customer loyalty. As noted by Market Realist, market research company Consumer Intelligence Research Partners has estimated iOS loyalty rates at 89% for the quarter ending in September 2018 compared to Android’s loyalty rate of 92%.
