Apple Daily Report: 2018 MacBook Pros (15-inch models) available at Apple’s refurbished store (and more news)

Since Steve and I can’t cover everything, at the end of each week day, we’ll offer this wrap-up of news items you should check out.

As noted by MacRumors. Apple has added 2018 models of the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar to its refurbished store in the U.S. for the first time.

According to the Silicon Valley Business Journal, Apple has signed a lease for nearly 314,000 square feet of industrial manufacturing space at McCarthy Creekside, a new, multiphase development in Milpitas, according to real estate records.



This week, the Town of Woodside (California) will discuss what to do with some of the housing fixtures salvaged from a former home of the late Steve Jobs, according to Business Insider. He bought the Jackling Estate in 1984 and lived there for a decade. 

On the new MacVoices, Bradley Olsen, the director/producer of “Off the Tracks” (a documentary about Apple’s Final Cut Pro X), discusses what motivated him to tackle the project.

Apple has debuted a revamped Jobs at Apple website. It sports a video showing work available at the tech giant.  

Apple has detailed out-of-warranty repair fees for the iPhone XR. The smartphone, now available for pre-order, goes on sale Friday.

Super Micro Computer says it will review its hardware for any proof of “spy chips” as alleged in a recent media report.
