Apple alum joins Submer Technologies as chief technical officer

Former Apple exec, Scott Noteboom, has joined data center specialist, Submer Technologies, as chief technology officer (CTO).

Noteboom has worked at technology companies for more than 20years – including serving as head of Infrastructure Strategy, Design, and Development for Apple and vice president of Engineering & Operations at Yahoo! He’ll bring his experience to help drive strategic innovation across Submer’s line of immersion cooling systems and autonomous infrastructure platform, according to Submer CEO Daniel Pope.

Submer was founded in 2015 by Pope and Pol Valls with the vision “of building technologies to make data centers more sustainable.” Its headquarters is in Barcelona, Spain, but the company has various locations in North America.
