Apple has added support for Live Activities in Shazam, its free music discovery and identification app. They keep you updated when you’re searching for music in the background.

Shazam is a music recognition app that Apple acquired in 2018 for US$400 million. Last year it passed 220 million monthly active users worldwide. It’s available as a standalone app and as a built-in feature on the iPhone and iPad.
