Analyst: 2018 iPhones will come in a variety of colors

In a note to clients — as noted by 9to5Mac — TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo thinks upcoming iPhones will come in a variety of colors.

He’s predicting a 6.5-inch OLED “iPhone X Plus” in black, white, and gold. The entry-level 6.1-inch LCD iPhone will come in grey, white, blue, red and orange, he adds. (I’m assuming “grey” is space grey, and white is “silver”).

Kuo also says the iPhone X Plus will cost about $1,000 and sport dual SIM capabilities. The 6.1-inch smartphone will retail for about $700, he adds.

According to the Sellers Research Group (that’s me), Kuo is right on the money. The pricing sounds right, and it’s about time Apple offered some vibrant new colors for its smartphone line. Now how about some color options for the Mac?
