Amazon to carry more Apple products on its global websites

Amazon has signed a deal with Apple to expand the selection of the tech giant’s products on Amazon worldwide, reports CNET.

The e-commerce company says it will soon start selling more Apple products directly and have access to Apple’s latest devices, including the 2018 iPad Pros, iPhones, and Apple Watches, as well as Apple’s lineup of Beats headphones. The deal encompasses the U.S., UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan and India.

The new products will arrive on Amazon sites in the coming weeks, according to CNET. Also, only Apple-authorized resellers will now be allowed to sell Apple and Beats products on Amazon’s marketplace.

At present, many Apple products are either unavailable on Amazon or are on sale only through its third-party marketplace at varied prices and conditions. However, the e-commerce giant does currently sell some Apple devices directly, such as MacBooks and Beats headphones.
