Amazon Prime app not likely to appear on the Apple TV anytime soon

Don’t look for an Amazon Prime app on the Apple TV until Apple presents Amazon with “acceptable business terms,” according to Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, reports The Verge.

He said only wants Amazon to sell devices that support Prime Video. And while “you can always get the video player on the device,” you can’t always get them on “acceptable business terms.”

When The Verge pressed Bezos and asked whether those terms involved Apple’s famous 30% cut on all purchases, Bezos said that “private business discussions should stay private.”

Amazon Prime is a membership program that gives customers access to streaming video, music, e-books, free shipping and a variety of other Amazon-specific services and deals. It costs $99 per year or you can go for a monthly $10.99 charge. You can try the service for free for 30 days.
