Amazon Music now available on Apple TV

Amazon announced today that the new Amazon Music app is available for Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD units that are running tvOS 12.0 or later.

Download the Amazon Music app from the Apple TV App Store and you’ll get access to stream millions of songs, thousands of playlists, and a wide variety of stations. Amazon also has global playlists available, including Pop Culture (songs from the current pop music world) and Rap Rotation (hip-hop).

For those who have been using Amazon Music in the past and who load the new app onto an Apple TV, you’ll now be able to browse and search for music from your favorite artists, access any music you’ve purchased or imported into your “My Music” library, and even follow along with scrolling lyrics on your TV screen.

Karolina Jonathsing, director of business development for Amazon Music, said “We believe that listeners should be able to stream music simply and easily on any device they choose. With that in mind, our aim has been to bring listeners more ways to enjoy their favorite music. We’re thrilled to bring the Amazon Music app to Apple TV customers across the globe.”

The Amazon Music app for Apple TV is available now for customers in the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Canada, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Mexico, Japan and India.
