Adonit announces active stylus compatible with the iPad AND iPhone

Adonit has introduced the US$249.99Adonit Prime, which it says is the world’s first multi-device compatible active stylus with interchangeable digital cartridges for iPhone and iPad.

It’s available for purchase with one digital cartridge included, either Prime-Dash for iPhone and Prime-Note for iPad compatibility, with additional cartridges available for purchase separately.  The Prime is a two-part stylus with a sleek metallic body. The thin digital cartridges housed inside the stylus  screw in place and are swappable.

Turn on the stylus by unscrewing the cap; a green light indicator shows it’s  it’s ready for use, and you can begin writing. Replace the cap to turn the device off. Prime’s included motion sensor USB-C charging dock features a patented “portless” design engaged by placing the stylus point down in the stand, which provides 12 hours of continuous use from a one and a half hour charge
