A round-up of screen protectors for the iPhone 13

On September, I published an article asking, “Do the iPhone 13 models need screen protectors?” My conclusion was “not necessarily, but it couldn’t hurt.”

Thankfully, there are a lot of options for screen protectors out there. Let’s have a look at some of them.

ZAGG

The US$59.99 Glass Elite Privacy Guard (pictured above) has a four-way filter that protects your screen from prying eyes, whether it’s in portrait or landscape mode. ZAGG also includes an anti-microbial treatment that protects the screen protector by inhibiting the growth of odor-causing bacteria.

The $49.99 Glass Elite Vision Guard provides scratch and shatter protection with an Eyesafe blue light filter. It also packs an anti-microbial treatment that protects the screen protector by inhibiting the growth of odor-causing bacteria.

Belkin

The $39.99 SCREENFORCE UltraGlass Antimicrobial-treated screen protector offers “double ion-exchange” glass screen protection. And the glass contains an antimicrobial agent to protect the product from microbial growth. Belkin says its UltraGlass is two times as strong as tempered glass.

The $24.99 SCREENFORCE TemperedGlass has the features of the UltraGlass model, but is made of tempered glass rather than UltraGlass.

Benks

One of my favorite screen protectors is the $34.99 King Kong (pictured below), which is made of Corning glass. It’s plenty tough, and its hydrophobic and oleo-phobic coating makes it anti-fingerprint and dirt-proof. Plus, it comes with a patented installation kit which makes it (relatively) easy for folks like me to install.
