MacPlus debuts a new app exclusively for Stage View on macOS Ventura

MacPlus has announced a new app exclusively for use with Stage Manager on macOS Ventura: Stage View.

According to Apple, Stage Manager gives Mac users a new way to stay focused on the task in front of them while switching between apps and windows. Continuity Camera can now uses iPhone as the webcam. With Handoff coming to FaceTime, users can start a FaceTime call on their iPhone or iPad, and pass it over to their Mac. Mail and Messages come with new, while Safari promises a “passwordless future with passkeys.”

“Many people really like Stage Manager, and many probably just looked and don’t use it anymore,” syas Sergey Achadovsky of MacPlus. “Stage Manager is something radically new. This product has potential, but it’s  not perfect. For example you can’t quickly select the desired window in a group (stack), you have to click on the group until you find the right one window and a number of other shortcomings.

Stage View is a utility that adds a preview of the windows in the group in Stage Manager. MacPlus is launching a release candidate and a 30% discount the release of the final version of the app.
