° From Apple’s YouTube channel: Apple has posted a video ad designed to highlight the Action mode on certain models of the iPhone 14.
° From FOSS Patents: Apple’s Korean headquarters in the city of Gangnam-gu were subjected to a dawn raid by the Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC), which is Korea’s antitrust authority.
° From Bloomberg: It could take Apple eight years to move even as little as 10% of its production away from China.
° From MacRumors: Apple has stopped signing iOS 16 and iOS 16.0.1, the two previously available versions that came out in mid-September. Since the two versions are no longer being signed, it is not possible to downgrade to those versions of iOS after installing iOS 16.0.2.
° From The Mac Observer: The new ad-free Instagram client OG App has already been removed from the App Store, though not for the reasons you would suspect.
