Report predicts that Apple TV+ will only have 11 million subscribers by 2026

A June survey from ASCI shows that every video streaming service tracked by ASCI grew its customer satisfaction score compared to the previous year, with Apple TV+ doing well.

As noted by Dark Horizons, the analytical film Digital TV Research predicts the Disney+ streaming service will reach more subscribers than Netflix globally in 2026. The news isn’t quite so rosy for Apple TV+.

The report projects that the number of subscribers to Disney+ will reach 294 million in 2026 – exceeding the 286 million that it estimates Netflix will reach by that point. There’s a catch though – they suggest that in every country but one (India), Netflix will still have more subscribers than Disney+ will.

Digital TV Research also projects that, by 2026, Amazon’s Prime service will reach 184 million globally, HBO Max will reach 50 million, and Apple TV+ will hit just 11 million.
