As noted by MacRumors, Apple leader Jon Prosser tweets that a new Apple Watch and (non-Pro) iPad will be announced in September, followed by an “iPhone 12” event in October.
He adds that the first two products will be announced via press release and begin shipping around Oct. 12. The iPhone event will be held on Oct. 12 with a staggered release schedule for the next gen iPhones.
Prosser says that preorders of the iPhone 12 devices will begin on Oct. 12 with order to begin shipping on Oct. 19. iPhone 12 Pro devices won’t be available for preorder and shipping until sometime in November.
“With the staggered release of iPhone 12 and uncertainty of final dates for Pro models, there’s a chance that the dates could slip/change,” Prosser adds.
