Apple’s iOS 13 launched last week with a host of new security and privacy features, but contains a security flaw that allows users to bypass the lockscreen and gain access to contact information, according to a Fast Company article.
Specifically, it seems iOS 13 isn’t respecting the location privacy settings for certain apps. This bug has been reported to Apple and should be fixed in iOS 13.1, which is scheduled to launch tomorrow along with iPadOS 13. Until then, as Fast Company notes, be aware not all of your location privacy settings may be being respected by iOS 13.
