Apple execs didn’t mention it onstage during today’s “By Innovation Only” event, but release dates for its operating system updates were hidden in various press releases.
iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 are coming on Thursday, Sept. 19, along with watchOS 6. iOS 13.1 and iPadOS 13.1 are due on Sept. 30, while macOS Catalina is coming sometime in October.
When the latter arrives, it will probably arrive along with the new modular Mac Pro, the Pro Display XDR, and perhaps the rumored 16-inch MacBook Pro.
Some folks were expecting a new Apple TV set-top box to arrive. Perhaps it will arrive Nov. 1 along with tvOS 13 and the Apple TV+ streaming service.
