The folks at Jamf, which specializes in Apple device management, were pleased with this week’s announcements at the Worldwide Developer Conference, especially regarding Apple’s continued commitment to user privacy, organizational security, and cross-platform support.

Finally, iPadOS and Project Catalyst means it is easier than ever for administrators to effectively manage every use case in their organization.”
He adds that a purpose-built operating system, iPadOS, means iPad is now a more powerful and purpose-built tool for end users that choose a tablet. And organizations that develop in-house apps now have a faster and more efficient pipeline to bring apps to multiple Apple platforms, he says.
“This was a huge start to WWDC and brings a number of significant changes to the Apple ecosystem that will benefit enterprise and education customers,” Denney says. “We’re looking forward to digging into these new features and more with betas as we head toward expected release this fall.”
