Apple is now accepting Worldwide Developer Conference 2019 scholarships for students. The event will be held June 3-7 in San Jose, California. Developers selected for a scholarship will receive a WWDC19 ticket, lodging for the conference, and one year of membership in the Apple Developer Program free of charge. You must apply by Sunday, March 24, 5 p.m. (Pacific).
Mac developers can now release updates in phases instead of to all users at once. “You can now release an update to your macOS app in stages by enabling Phased Release for Automatic Updates in App Store Connect,” says Apple in a notification on its Developer website. “Your update will go out to an increasing percentage of users with automatic updates turned on, over a 7-day period.”
Bloomberg reports that David Solomon, Goldman Sachs’s chief executive officer will be on hand at Apple’s “It’s Show Time” event on Monday, lending credence to the rumors that the tech giant and the investment bank will team up for an Apple-branded credit card.
