Did you miss AWT TV last night? No problem; here it is!

Last night was our first AWT TV live streaming show on YouTube in a while since we had been hit with the ban hammer of death a while back. The show was not without its technical glitches, as Steve was unable to get screen sharing working on his iPad Pro… which is why he may have to look into getting a used MacBook just for AWT TV. Sigh.

Marty, being on a Mac mini, had no issues at all doing screen sharing, so he was more than happy to show an app that is incredibly powerful and fun. It’s called Life360 GPS Locator and Tracker, and it lets you keep tabs on the whereabouts of your loved ones without burning up a lot of your iPhone battery.

Marty’s wife was en route to visit her parents in Arkansas, so we got a full real-life example of the app in operation. With a full subscription, you can even have the app notify family and friends if you have an accident. You can get the app on the App Store here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/find-my-family-friends-phone/id384830320?mt=8

Other than that, we discussed Angela Ahrendt’s departure from Apple, the rebound of Apple stock since last week’s Earnings Call, and a few other things that had NOTHING to do with Apple at all. Expect Marty to have one of Samsung’s latest phones for comparison on our next show on Feb. 19.
