Russian certification agency Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has certified new iPad models. Some of these could be variants of the rumored iPad mini 5 and two entry-level iPads with a 9.7-inch display, according to a MySmartPrice report .
This would seem to confirm reports by two suppliers of touch panels in Taiwan who say they expect to supply screens for the fifth generation iPad mini and a new 2019 iPad. I’ve been skeptical that Apple would introduce a new version of the mini, believing that the tech giant would instead concentrate on the 9.7-inch iPad and iPad Pro, but I may be proven wrong.
