According to Axios Apple exec Johny Srouji is now on Intel’s shortlist for potential CEOs. The company’s search has been ongoing for about six months.
In December 2015, Srouji was named Apple’s senior vice president for Hardware Technologies. Prior to this, Srouji had been with Apple for nearly eight years as vice president of Hardware Technologies, where he oversaw silicon and hardware technologies for Apple’s product line.
He joined Apple in 2008 to lead development of the A4, which was Apple’s first in-house design of a system on a chip. Before Apple, Srouji worked at Intel and IBM in the area of processor development.
