You can protect your iPhone and help Mother Earth with a Rareform case

If you’re looking for a no-frills iPhone case that’s reasonably priced and helps the environment, I suggest buying one from Rareform, a California-based company that takes used billboards and saves them from being sent to the dump.

The material is cleaned, cut, and repurposed into bags, wallets, duffles, and more.

Now the company partnered with Nomad to bring their repurposed materials to the world of iPhones. Each case is a one-of-a-kind creation that users can personally select on the Rareform website

I’m using the $38 iPhone Xs Max Case, and it sports most of the features I want in a smartphone case. It’s thin, but still protects an iPhone from a six-foot drop thanks in part to its raised edges. Also, it adds some “grippability” to the iPhone and is compatible with wireless charging.

You can get more protective cases, waterproof cases, fancy cases, etc. But Rareform’s cases will work just fine for most of us and help make a small, but important, ecological difference.
