Apple will release three new iPhones this fall, according to Bloomberg, quoting unnamed sources. This report is pretty much in line with what KGI securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted.
Bloomberg says the lineup will include the largest iPhone ever (with 6.5-inch screen), a lower cost version of the iPhone X, and a budget-friendly option that doesn’t skimp on the features. The article says:
- The larger iPhone could have a screen resolution of 1242 x 2688 and will include an OLED panel and Face ID like the iPhone X.
- The super-sized smartphone and the smaller, updated iPhone X version will both have next-gen A12 processors and stainless steel edges.
- Apple is considering a dual-SIM card option for the larger model.
- The third, lower cost version will have an edge-to-edge screen and Face ID like the X but a cheaper LCD screen, aluminum edges, and a glass back.
