“Home” hails from executive producers Matt Tyrnauer and Corey Reeser of Altimeter Films, Matthew Weaver, Ian Orefice and Bruce Gersh from Time Inc. “Home” is the latest addition to Apple’s growing slate of TV programs, which includes shows starting Octavia Spencer, Jennifer Aniston, and Reese Witherspoon, as well as a revival of the Steven Spielberg series, Amazing Stories. The Cupertino, California-based company has set a budget of roughly $1 billion to procure and produce original content over the next year, according to the Wall Street Journal, and could acquire and produce as many as 10 television shows.
