Notable apps and app updates for Nov. 29, 2017

On a regular basis, Apple World Today posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they’re popular and deserve mention. Here are today’s picks.

iOS Apps/Updates

Jumsoft has debuted Toolbox for MS Office 1.0, an addition to their productivity suite for iOS devices. Toolbox for MS Office contains a vast variety of professional and stylish templates of Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, infographics, decorative artwork and icons. 

The app downloads content on demand to save space on the device, and allows saving templates for later use offline. It also features deep iOS11 support. Toolbox for MS Office 1.0 offers some items in all categories free-of-charge for users to try and use, while the rest can be purchased for $0.99 – $4.99 per item.

VideoGo has introduced Graphics2Go 1.0. It’s a $2.99 templated style branding app that lets anyone create professional looking videos on their mobile device. You can brand your video by adding your logo, lower third graphic, and more. Graphcis2Go will automatically compile everything for you.

macOS Apps/Updates

Toolfarm, a global distributor and reseller of video, VFX, 3D, and motion graphics software applications and plug-ins, has released the RenderGarden plug-in for Adobe After Effects CC  on macOS and Windows. Developed by Mekajiki, it purportedly accelerates render speeds by as much as 3X.

It leverages existing system hardware processing power to improve the speed of motion graphics and visual effects workflows. RenderGarden is available from Toolfarm at an manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $99.
