Notable apps and app updates for May 23, 2017

On a regular basis, Apple World Today posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they’re popular and deserve mention. Here are today’s picks.

iOS Apps/Updates

G-Power GameinLife has introduced Scream Flying 1.0. It’s a free, voice control game that’s entirely controlled by the pitch of a human voice. There are no buttons or touchpad involved. In addition to the voice command feature, Scream Flying also detects faces and records video of the players as they proceed with game play. Players can also collect notes to add special effects to the colorful characters.

macOS Apps/Updates

Before Dawn Solutions says Caboodle 2.0.2, the company’s personal snippet manager now on the Mac App Store. It requires macOS 10.10 or later and costs $19.99.

The app provides a single place to store, organize, and find useful tidbits of text, images, PDFs, and more. Version 2.0.2 sports such new features as multiple document windows, Spotlight search, a new high performance file format, and more.
