Sorry, but Apple won’t preview the ‘iPhone 8’ at WWDC

In a note to clients — as noted by 9to5Mac — analysts at J.P. Morgan, a financial services firm, says Apple will likely announce the “iPhone 8” at the 28th annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), which will be held at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California, June 5-9.

The Sellers Research Group (that’s me) says there’s 0% chance this will happen. WWDC will focus on the latest versions of macOS, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS and preview new Macs (as well as new iPad Pros, if they’re not released before then). I predict the next the next gen iPhone will be unveiled at a special event in September and go on sale in October or November.
