Apple Dubai Mall, a retail store in The Dubai Mall, will “open soon.”. The mall is located in, as you might guess from the name, Dubai, the most populous city in the United Arab Emigrates.
UAE is a country located in the southeast end of the Arabian Peninsula on the Persian Gulf, bordering Oman to the east and Saudi Arabia to the south, as well as sharing sea borders with Qatar and Iran.
Hours (in local time, of course) will be 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Friday through Sunday. The Dubai Mall is the largest mall in the world by total area and the nineteenth largest shopping mall in the world by gross leasable area. It’s part of the 20-billion-dollar Downtown complex, and includes 1,200 shops.
Apple has two other outlets in the UAE region —the Mall of the Emirates, also in Dubai and Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi. With the opening of the store, Apple will have 494 retail stores in 22 countries and an online store available in 39 countries.
