Apple has introduced a $199 Pro Apps Bundle for educators and students that includes versions of Final Cut Pro X, Logic Pro X, Motion 5, Compressor 4, and MainStage 3, downloadable at the Mac App Store.
All total, the software titles would cost $630 if purchased separately. The bundle is available for all faculty and staff at U.S educational institutions all the way from kindergarten through college.
Final Cut Pro X is Apple’s professional video editing software. Logic X is a music production app. Motion is a graphics tool for creating animated 3D titles, fluid transitions, and realistic effects for Final Cut Pro X. Compressor is an encoding companion app for Final Cut Pro X. MainStage is a live performance app that lets you take any sound from Logic Pro X to the concert stage.
After purchasing the Pro Apps Bundle, you’ll receive an email with content codes that can be redeemed on the Mac App Store. Codes are usually delivered within one business day but could take longer.
