Here’s an idea for tweaking the Mac’s ‘customize toolbar’ ability

Why don’t we have the ability to drag a buried menu command directly to our Mac toolbar via the “customize toolbar” feature?

There are some menu items that would be handy to have quick mouse click access to instead of dragging through a menu structure. A menu item could be just about any of ’em, depending on the person and their own personal workflow.

As one example, if you have the Developer Menu enabled in Safari, you could drag the open URL in the Google Chrome menu item to avoid having to dig down through the menu structure. It would be much easier just to have that as a click button in the toolbar.
