How to find your iPhone using your Apple Watch

Can’t find your iPhone, but you’re wearing your Apple Watch? No problem-o. You can find your smartphone using the “ping” feature as long as your smartwatch is connected to bit via Bluetooth or is on the same Wi-Fi network.

From the clock face on your Apple Watch, swipe up from the bottom of the watch screen to open the Glances. Swipe right until you see the Settings glance, which is the leftmost glance screen. Tap the pinging phone button.

Your iPhone will emit a short, pinging sound to help you find it, even if it’s in silent mode. A message saying “Pinging iPhone” pops up on your Apple Watch’s screen.
