Apple Pay touches down in New Zealand

Apple Pay is now available in New Zealand for ANZ customers with an iPhone, reports Stuff. ANZ is the only bank in New Zealand that accepts it and it works both with their Visa and debit cards.

Apple Pay is now available in the U.S., the UK, China, Australia, Russia, Canada, Switzerland, Singapore, France, Hong Kong, and New Zealand. Apple is working to expand the mobile payment service to Japan, Spain, and Taiwan.

Apple Pay works with the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone SE and Apple Watch. When paying within apps, Apple Pay is compatible with the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 4 and iPad Pro. It’s also macOS Sierra compatible.
