How to change watch faces in watchOS 3 on your Apple Watch

You can change the watch faces in watchOS 3 right from your Apple Watch — although it’s easier to do it on your iPhone (but we’ll cover that on Monday).

In watchOS 3, you can cycle through your watch faces by swiping left and right from the edges of the face on your Apple Watch. Before, you had to force press he current face, then swipe.

However, you can still summon up the old interface for adjusting faces by force-pressing on the current watch face. It offers some customization options. The number of options available depends on the face itself.

Conveniently, this also allows to switch faces on the fly. For instance, you can start the day with the fun Minnie Mouse face, then switch (by swiping) to the Activity face when you start to work out.
