Mac OS X Apps/Updates
Checkmark Games has released Shattered Throne, its new fantasy strategy game onto Steam Early Access for Mac, Windows, and Linux systems.
In the game you follow the story of the young prince as he leads his forces against dark forces that threaten to tear the realm apart. Brave knights turn on one another, while sylvan armies emerge from the wilds and necromantic magic commands forces of the dead. You test your tactics on the fields of battle. And you master both steel and magic to secure victory.
iOS Apps/Updates
ElitApps has introduced Floaties 1.0. The free game offers features over 40 characters. To help them stay alive in their endless floating adventure, players must tap their way to a number of floats.
Wulum Creative Technology has launched Circuland 1.0. In the $0.99 game for kids up to eight years, there are 10 scenes where little children learn words, shapes, numbers, colors and concepts.
AssistiveWare and Acapela Group have introduced genuine French Text to Speech children’s voices. The voices, called Elise and Valentin, are made by and for children. The voices are available as a free download in AssistiveWare’s Pictello, a visual storytelling app for iOS that’s often used in the classroom for social stories and schedules to support children with autism and Down syndrome. Children can share stories with voices that are age appropriate and natural-sounding.
Full Fat has kicked off Flick Soccer France 2016 v1.0. The free app features five game modes including free kicks and arcade style target practice.
