Notable apps and app updates for June 2, 2016

On a regular basis, Apple World Today posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they’re popular and deserve mention. Here are today’s picks.

iOS Apps/Updates

Gotta Apps has introduced Gotta Joga Prenatal – Yoga during Pregnancy 1.0. The $2.99 app offers a set of high yoga classes and 27 postures dedicated for expecting mothers. Classes are suitable for pregnant women from the second trimester forward.

Speaking of babies, Fat Cigar Productions has debuted Hear My Baby 1.0.1. The $4.99 pregnancy app is designed to help expectant mothers to hear their baby’s heartbeat by pressing the microphone from their iPhone up against their tummy. Featuring a audio recording system, Hear My Baby can identify the heartbeat range of the baby and then amplify the heartbeat sound it so it can be recorded and shared via email or Facebook.

Appsonite AS has announced Catchagram 1.0. It’s a $2.99 fishing photo sharing app that adds a wide set of specific fishing-related features to the standard functions of other photo sharing apps. It enables fishing photography aficionados to share their trophy pictures with other fishing fans. Users can classify and browse images in different categories of fish species, type of fishing, and fishing equipment.

Six Overground has released dropdrop 1.1. The free social networking app lets you leave “drops” where you travel for others to discover. A drop is a message or photo placed at a specific location in the real world.

tvOS Apps/Updates for the Apple TV

Kiupe has conjured up Kilubu Magic Potions 2 for the Apple TV and iOS devices. In the $3.99 app, players discover eight missions, each one with a different character who needs help. You must prepare magic potions and help funny characters with all sorts of silly ingredients.
