John Legere, the CEO of T-Mobile USA, announced yesterday that preorders for the iPhone 6s are 30 percent higher than what the carrier saw for the iPhone 6 last year.
Legere took to Twitter yesterday to announce the new special trade-in plan for folks who want to trade in an iPhone 6 and the a 6s for $5 a month, and threw out that interesting tidbit about preorders in one of the tweets.
Although Apple is — as usual — tight-lipped about the exact sales numbers for the newest iPhones, the two new phones are no longer available for launch-day delivery. If you neglected to preorder and still want one of the new phones, it’s time to get over to the nearest Apple Store and camp out until early Friday morning. Carrier stores and some third-party resellers should also have limited stock on hand.
