AppleCare+ more expensive for iPhone 6s/6s Plus

Buying AppleCare+ for a new iPhone 6s or 6s Plus is going to be a more expensive proposition, as the company has increased the price tag on the two-year warranty plan to $129. That’s $30 more than the cost of AppleCare+ for older iPhone models.

Apple has also bumped up the service fees for up to two incidents of accidental damage. That fee is currently $79 for each incident with older iPhone models, but will be $99 for the newest phones out of Cupertino.
