Steps to Build a Custom Route

  • Set your start point: Touch and hold a trail or road on the map, tap the info/more button, and choose Create a Custom Route.
  • Add points: Tap other locations or trail spots along your desired path to automatically connect them.
  • Modify the path: Use the on-screen buttons to Reverse the route, Retrace steps (out and back), Close a loop, or Undo an unwanted point.
  • Save for later: Tap Save Route, add a name or optional notes, and turn on the Download Map / Download Route toggle if you need offline access while out on the trail.
