A 24-inch iMac with an M6 processor will purportedly arrive before year’s end

An update of the 24-inch iMac with an M6 processor will arrive before the end of the year, Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman says in his latest “Power On” newsletter.

But unless Apple unveils new colors for the all-in-one, don’t expect any major design changes. And don’t get your hopes up for a 27-inch all-in-one or an iMac with an OLED display. The latter is in the works, but likely won’t arrive for several years, Gurman says. As for this year’s iMac update, it will likely sport an M5 or M6 processor in the same design, he adds. The current iterations has an M4 chip. As for a bigger iMac, it could happen, but don’t hold your breath.
