You can pause your Activity Rings in watchOS 26 if you need a break. Here’s how:

  1. Open the Activity app on your Apple Watch.
  2. Tap the Weekly Summary icon (top-left, looks like a graph).
  3. Scroll down to the bottom and tap Pause Rings.
  4. Select the desired duration (e.g., “Just for today” or a custom duration).
  5. Tap Set to confirm.
  • Pausing allows you to take a break (up to 90 days) while maintaining your awards and streaks. To resume things, open the Activity app, tap your rings, and select Resume Rings. You can also pause rings in the Fitness app on your iPhone by tapping the Activity card and selecting “Pause Rings”
