How to use the new Sleep Score feature in watchOS 26

The Control Center in tvOS 26 gives you quick access to settings and controls for switching users, playing music, accessing HomeKit cameras and scenes, putting Apple TV to sleep, and more.

With watchOS 26, a new sleep score feature comes to Apple Watch, so users can better understand the quality of their sleep and take steps to help make it more restorative.

To use the new Sleep Score in watchOS 26, wear your charged Apple Watch (Series 6 or later) to sleep to track your night, then open the Sleep app on your watch or the Health app on your iPhone in the morning to find your score (0-100) and breakdown by duration, consistency, and interruptions, using it with Sleep Focus and regular schedules to improve your rest.

Your score combines these factors:

  • Sleep Duration (50 points): How close you were to your goal.
  • Bedtime Consistency (30 points): How regular your sleep schedule is.
  • Interruptions (20 points): Time spent awake during the night.
