FCC seemingly confirms Apple’s work on a M5 MacBook Pro, M5 iPad, and updated Vision Pro

The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has seemingly confirmed Apple's work on a M5 MacBook Pro, M5 iPad, and updated Vision Pro.

As noted by MacRumors, the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has seemingly confirmed Apple’s work on a M5 MacBook Pro, M5 iPad, and updated Vision Pro.

The M5 MacBook Pro is expected to see few changes beyond an updated processor (the M5). However, a revamp of the pro laptop with an OLED display and thinner design — as well as, possibly, a cellular option and even a tough display — is rumored to be coming in the second half of 2026.

Ditto the M5 iPad Pro. Except for the updated processor, no design changes are expected.

As for a new Vision Pro, it’s expected to be updated with a M4 or M5 processor. It also might come in a new space grey option with a newly designed strap for comfort.
