Some customers are having Wi-Fi issues with their new iPhones

iPadOS 26.2 and macOS Tahoe 26.2 bring some Wi-Fi improvements for certain iPads and Macs.

As noted by MacRumors, some customers are having Wi-Fi issues with their new iPhones.

Some say Wi-Fi connectivity periodically cuts out on the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone Air, with hundreds of comments about the issue posted across the MacRumors Forums, Reddit, and the Apple Support Community over the past four days.

Specifically, affected users said Wi-Fi briefly disconnects and then reconnects after they unlock the iPhone. Multiple users claim that the issue comes only when they are wearing an Apple Watch. And since Apple’s CarPlay system in vehicles relies on a Wi-Fi connection, the issue can result in CarPlay disconnecting too, according to MacRumors.

Apple has been contacted about the problems. However, there’s no word on when a fix will be available.
