Apple rumored to be working on plans for iPhones with OLED displays

We could see iPhones with OLED displays in 2028.

Forget iPhone 17 and iPhone 18 rumors. Let’s look ahead to 2028 smartphones.

Apple is planning to bring tandem-structure OLED panels to its iPhone lineup in the coming years, which would bring over some of the display improvements currently exclusive to Apple’s M4 iPad Pros, according to the Korean site The Elec — as noted by MacRumors.

The article says the tech giant has set a two-year production plan for OLED tech to be adopted by iPhones. However, Apple reportedly hasn’t decided whether to develop the tandem OLED panels with Samsung Display or LG Display.
