Could Apple have a ‘rollable’ iPhone planned for 2026?

Could Apple have a "rollable" iPhone planned for 2026?

In his  latest Power On newsletter, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says Apple is readying a skinnier iPhone for later this year and focused on finishing up development of its first foldable device for 2026.

The skinnier iPhone (rumored to be dubbed the “iPhone Air” or “iPhone Slim”) and a foldable iPhone have long been rumored. However, Gurman says there’s also another new iPhone design in the works for 2026. However, he does offer any details on what a new design might look like. Could it be a “rollable” iPhone?

There have been rumors of a rollable iPhone. In 2023 Apple was granted a patent for a rolling iPhone that could roll up like a stack of notes! So — who knows? — perhaps an iPhone Air and iPhone Fold might be followed by the iPhone Roll.
