Education experts have launched an app called Wonderwood that offers a collection of educator-approved, knowledge-building content for kids aged 3-8.

The app combines learning and entertainment through engaging images and kid-friendly explanations across various subjects, making every visit a valuable learning opportunity, says Steve Midgley, ex-deputy director at the US Department of Education and co-creator of Wonderwood.

“Recent studies show that children spend an average of 5-7 hours daily on screens, mostly consuming entertainment content,” he says. “Wonderwood transforms this screen time into valuable learning opportunities without sacrificing the engaging experience kids expect. Each time kids access the app, they build on their previous experience and learn more. Their screen time pays off in more learning.”

You can download Wonderwood now on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and get a free 14-day trial.
